Bye bye plastic!

Indonesia is a country of extreme contrasts: The world's largest island state is known for the best diving spots and a unique flora and fauna.

Great garbage collection

But there is also the other side of the coin: Indonesia has a growing rubbish problem. There is no rubbish collection in many regions, not to mention recycling or garbage incineration plants.

For that reason Sea Souls organizes regular beach cleanings. With those actions we collect the garbage that washed ashore. Items that can be recycled, will be recycled. The rest is kept by us and in the low saison we take it back to the mainland to the landfill Manado. Here in our region this collection station is the only place for proper disposal.

Every piece of plastic, that not ends up in the ocean, is a small gain. We will continue our work to reduce the plastic problem in our region.
