The nightactive Bobtail Squids usually stay at the seabed, in which they bury themselves even during the day.
Bobtail Squid
Only in the nighttime divers can discover the gorgeous Squids. They are only up to 5 cm in size and have a small rounded body with short arms.
Bobtail Squids are covered with black spots and shimmering rainbow colours. The blue and green shades are striking. The inhabitants of sand and mud bottoms occur in the Western Pacific between Indonesia and the Philippines.
